1. Purpose

[Placeholder] This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Crankshaft platform and services. By using Crankshaft you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

2. Permitted Uses

  • Receiving live transfers from pre-qualified, consent-verified consumers
  • Using the platform to manage call schedules and agent availability
  • Accessing call recordings and transcripts for your own quality assurance
  • Using platform data for lawful insurance sales activities

3. Prohibited Uses

  • Contact consumers who have not provided prior express written consent as required by applicable law
  • Engage in deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading sales practices
  • Misrepresent your licensing status, brokerage affiliation, or insurance products
  • Sell, transfer, or share consumer data received through the platform to unauthorized third parties
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform
  • Use the platform to contact consumers on federal or state Do Not Call registries outside of lawful exemptions
  • Use AI-generated voices or automated systems to conduct sales calls in violation of TCPA
  • Conduct robocalling, ringless voicemail drops, or unsolicited text campaigns using data from the platform
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse consumers or Crankshaft staff
  • Violate any applicable federal or state insurance, telemarketing, or consumer protection law

4. Licensing Requirements

[Placeholder] You must maintain all required insurance producer licenses in each state where you conduct business using the platform. You must notify Crankshaft promptly if any license lapses, is suspended, or is revoked. Crankshaft reserves the right to verify licensing at any time.

5. Consumer Treatment

[Placeholder] You agree to treat consumers with respect and professionalism. You must honor consumer requests to be removed from contact lists. You may not re-use consumer contact information for purposes outside the scope of the transfer for which it was provided.

6. Data Handling

[Placeholder] Consumer data received through the platform is licensed for use in connection with the specific transfer only. You may not aggregate, broker, or sell this data. You must implement reasonable security measures to protect consumer data in your possession.

7. Reporting Violations

8. Enforcement

[Placeholder] Crankshaft reserves the right to investigate suspected violations, suspend access pending investigation, and permanently terminate accounts for confirmed violations. We may report illegal activity to appropriate authorities.
